Biography
Matthew Doull is a Senior
Managing Director at B. Riley Securities responsible for covering the
Technology, Media and Telecom industries. He was previously Head of TMT
Investment Banking at Wedbush Securities, where he closed over 70 capital
markets and advisory transactions during almost 6 years. Before that he was
Head of TMT Investment Banking at BDA Partners for five years, based in Hong
Kong and specializing in cross-border transactions involving Asia. Matthew
co-founded Prometheus Global Media in 2009 to acquire The Hollywood Reporter,
Billboard and Adweek, successfully exiting in 2013, and prior to that held
positions on the buyside including Senior Analyst at SAC Capital and Portfolio
Manager at Pequot Capital. He started his career in the media industry as a
financial reporter at The Daily Telegraph in London before becoming associate
Publisher of Wired Magazine. He earned a BA from Brown University.
