Biography
Andy Moore serves as Chief Executive Officer of B. Riley Securities, bringing over two decades of capital markets and investment banking experience to the firm's leadership team.
Mr. Moore has spent much of his career building institutional relationships and scaling B. Riley's business lines. He originally joined B. Riley & Co. in 2006 as an institutional sales professional, later serving as Director of Sales and President before being appointed CEO in 2017. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving the firm's strategic expansion and diversifying revenue streams during a period of broader industry consolidation.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Moore has structured and executed complex equity and debt financings for a broad spectrum of small- and mid-cap corporate clients. As an active, market-facing executive, he partners directly with management teams to formulate strategic investment recommendations and leverages a nationwide network of institutional investors to ensure optimal transaction execution and secondary market support.
Previously, he held institutional equities and sales positions at other prominent institutions, including ROTH Capital Partners and Bear Stearns & Co.
Mr. Moore earned a Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and a Master
of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University
of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. He also holds FINRA
Series 7, 24, 66, and 87 licenses.
